Denise’s unexpected journey into Yoga has influenced and inspired every facet of her life in a positive way. “By practicing present moment awareness, Yoga continues to teach me greater understanding, acceptance and gratitude for all that life has to offer.” With over 13 years of diverse teaching experience, Denise cultivates creative and challenging sequences to inspire playful exploration and self-discovery. Denise is certified as a 200-hr Yoga Instructor, holding additional certifications in Thai Body Work, Reiki, Pilates, and Personal Training. Encouraging her students to trust their uniqueness, Denise celebrates our diversity while honoring the one force that unites us all.
Denise Holt instructs the following:
A fun, engaging yoga flow class in which the breath guides the movement of the body. The mind becomes focused on the breath as the body moves through a series of poses including sun salutations, standing poses, balancing postures, seated and reclining poses, backbends, core isolation and strengthening. Special emphasis is placed on moving into and out of postures safely, correct alignment, using the breath, and learning to quiet the chatter of the mind to find peace and inner stillness.
